RDS Board Elections
The results are in for the RDS Board elections
The activities of the Research Network Responsible Digital Society are overseen by the RDS Board, which is elected by the Patrons of the research network. Elections to the board are held every two years in line with the University Research Committee's regulations.
This year, the existing board members stood unopposed, and were re-elected until the summer of 2027. The online election ran from the 3rd to the 30th of June, with votes received from 59.42% of eligible voters, which shows a clear endorsement of the board's activities. The electorate comprises the Patrons of the RDS (University of Basel professors and senior leadership who join the network).
The RDS Board will be composed as follows:

- Prof. Dr. iur. Alfred Früh (Faculty of Law)
- Prof. Maria Katapodi PhD (Department of Clinical Research)
- Prof. Dr. Bianca Prietl (Department of Gender Studies)
- Prof. Dr. Volker Roth (Department of Mathematics and Computer Science
- Prof. Dr. Fabian Schär (Faculty of Business and Economics)
- Prof. Dr. Heiko Schuldt Department of Mathematics and Computer Science)
