We’re trying something slightly different for this third edition of the RDS Movie Night, instead of showing a classic film we’ll be showing a brand new documentary on Crypto Currency by writer/presenter Ben McKenzie. Although best known for his role in the teenage drama series The O.C., Ben McKenzie has a degree in economics and is the co-author of the New York Times bestseller Easy Money: Cryptocurrency, Casino Capitalism, and the Golden Age of Fraud with journalist Jacob Silverman (Abrams Press, 2023). Everyone is Lying to You for Money is McKenzie’s directorial debut, and had a limited cinematic release in April 2026, having previously been well received at film festivals, including SXSW London in 2025.
