How we communicate and exchange information on the Internet is constantly evolving. Platforms on which we share pictures and videos have emerged from purely text-based websites. Virtual meetings have been part of the daily business for many people since the pandemic. And younger generations are already spending a large part of their free time in virtual environments. The digital world seems to merge with the analog one and total immersion via a metaverse is getting closer and closer.
During this event, this phenomenon will be examined from a wide variety of perspectives. In addition to insights from research, concrete practical projects in the Metaverse will also be presented and the future of the Metaverse and the social implications will be discussed.
