ARRTI lecture series: Information, science and responsibility - current ethical challenges in IT

Self-driving cars, care robots, apps, software for recruitment procedures or for use in complex medical diagnostic procedures such as MRI - it has long been clear that many new technologies in the field of IT bring both advantages and risks. This ambivalence of new technologies also leads to the question of responsibility for consequences associated with them. The aim of this lecture series is to contribute to this by discussing fundamental and application-related ethical questions in the field of IT together with relevant experts. An open discourse, in which all arguments on the often controversial topics can be heard and evaluated, is important to us.

The lecture (in german) is aimed at listeners from all faculties, especially computer scientists.
