 ]\\r\\nAbout this talk:\\r\\nWhen it comes to digital solutions\, LGBTQIA+
users largely have the same goals as other users. However\, they still ha
ve certain specific requirements: no heteronormative and binary assumption
s in the user interface\, being able to adequately represent their own gen
der and relationship form in the system and also seeing themselves represe
nted in the content. We can see where the sticking points are here with th
e help of the gender radar and the “5-S model” by J.J. Garrett. Finall
y\, it should also be clear that non-LGBTQIA+ users can also benefit from
most of the points. \\r\\nAbout the Speaker:\\r\\nEvianne Hübscher (pron
ouns: she or they) has been involved in human-computer interaction for ove
r 20 years. In large and small projects\, Evianne has done user research\,
conceptual and detailed interaction design\, visual design\, product deve
lopment\, etc. In teaching assignments at MAS HCID and at the University o
f Basel (2005-2024) Evianne teaches UCD process models\, interaction desig
n and ethics in UX design. Evianne also offers consultations\, courses etc
. in the field of gender diversity and runs the websites nonbinary.ch and
 geschlechter-radar.org.
